O maior fóssil já registrado dessa espécie pertencia a uma fêmea, embora haja controvérsias. Eram predadores mas também se alimentavam de carniças. Filhotes provavelmente possuiam uma rala penugem, que perdiam conforme cresciam. Viveu no período Cretáceo na América do Norte e outras espécies de tiranossaurídeos foram encontradas na Ásia, como o Tarbosaurus.

I love the colors you've chosen for this Tyrannosaurus. It makes it look very fierce. :D I also like the protofeathers on its neck. :D

Thank you! Maybe Tyrannosaurus had protofeathers on it's neck and arms. But full body...I don't believe..hhee

I agree...I think Tyrannosaurus only had feathers as a chick. And small protofeathers as an adult. =)

Now, some dinosaurs like Ceratosaurus or Carnotaurus for sure don't have feathers or protofeathers.

Yup I believe baby rexes had fuzz but juveniles and adults have fuzzy proto feathers
